Mt Shutt

Having gone to bed early and excited, we woke up this morning to 100kmph winds which turned Mt Hutt into Mt Shutt. The road is closed up to the mountain because they have had cars blown off the road in lighter winds. The hostel was full of boarders & skiers desperate to go up the mountain today, but instead we have all had a lie in, and are sat watching corny snowboarding movies by the log fire. Sam is baking a cake.
Its not all bad though as the forecast is for 1/2 meter of snow tonight, we dont have a flight to catch for a long time and the rugby is on at 9:30pm tonight in the pub.
