The Remarkables

We hit the slopes of The Remarkables today. It is the famous mountain range featured in the Lord Of The Rings. It is a little bit smaller than the other resorts but very quiet, with wide sweeping slopes and more importantly it gets the sun all day long as it's freezing here in Queentown at the moment.
We had a great day, just the two of us boarding, and relaxing in the bar. Sam is doing really well, and got the glass of champagne I owed her for yesterday. I was learning to ride rails, and fell off a few and made a few.
We now have to choose between Remarkables or Coronet for tomorrows boarding (oh hell!)
We are out in Queenstown tonight for the Winter Festival carnival and will go to the World Bar for a teapot cocktail on Ruths reccomendation. I hate to think of my sister in Queenstown - there are so many bars!
