He Jumped Off A Bridge!

I can't tell you HOW HAPPY I was to see Chris throw himself off a bridge!!!
The whole journey there I was extatic to be just a spectator, whilst Chris and another few blokes sat silently looking hard and not bothered (deep down inside they must have been pooped). We got to the Nevis bungy jump, the 2nd highest in the World with a 134 meter drop and WOW! It wasn't a bridge you jump off it was out of a pod suspeded by wires into a gorge. Even as a spectator I was made to wear a harness on the little lift that takes you to the pod.
It was insane to watch blokes throw themselves out into nothingness, and I got more and more nervous as I watched Chris getting his feet strapped into this velcro thing. Chris looked cool and excited, but when he sat in the chair were they attach the bungy to you the first signs of nerves appeared...others shaked but Chris just did a big breath out and started checking out his surroundings (as if doing a safty check in his head).
He shuffled slowly out to a tiny platform, stretched his arms out...3,2,1 BUNGYYYY,he leaped with all his might and dissappeared out of sight...all I could hear was f*******************************************************ck!!!!!!!!!!
It was hilarious!!
I was very proud and he was buzzing when he came up, and saying something about wanting to do it again. Full credit and well done Chris.

P.S. Mum you asked me when I was a little girl if I'd jump off a bridge if such and such would, now you know that when I said "no" I was telling the truth!

Full of admiration for Chris but so glad you didn't do it :-)
Mind you, people reading the blog are probably wondering why Sam's mum asked her if she would jump off a bridge when she was a child!!
To Viv
