Venice Beach, L.A, Calafornia
This is where all the California stereotypes are born. This is the famous beach where red bikin wearing lifegurads stand on beach towers. Rollerblades, skateboarders, and cyclists all wearing tiny tight outfits cruise the promonade.
We sat outside a small beach cafe drinking Bud and eating burgers doing some extreme people watching.
All our dreams came true as we saw; A raster on rollerblades playing Amazing Grace on an electric guitar. A tramp salior carrying a massive USA flag. A Guy wearing a chain mail vest.
Hundreds or bladers and skaters wearing next to nothing, small dogs, big dogs, circus acts and the cherry on the cake... a 50 year old in small shorts, headband with headphones, riding a big wheel scooter carrying a blue parrot on his shoulder.
Just before sunset we hired out own blades and cruised along the famous broadwalk singing ' Everybodys Free' (Tampax advert circa 1993).
The sky turned red and we saw dolphins, seals and pelicans playing in the surf.
We are having a great time and are loving Los Angeles.
