Happy In L.A

We spent our final hour in Rio sat on Copacabana beach seriously considering cancelling our flight to Los Angeles. Rio has been our favourite city so far and we were leaving with lots of unfinished business. On the other hand we hadnt been able to book anywhere to stay in L.A, we were running out of money and America doesnt look cheap.
We reluctantly boarded American Airlines flight 904 to LAX. The 13 hour flight was like flying with a low cost airline. You had to pay for your food and drinks and the seats were excruciating.
Things took a massive turn for the better when we arrived to 27 degreee heat, and not a cloud in the sky. We easily found a place to stay which looks out directly over famous Venice Beach. The hotel is called the Cadilac Hotel and it was good enough for Charlie Chaplin so it is good enough for us. Venice Beach has also turned out to be as good as we imagined and more.
