The Last Post
We were going to write something very profound and emotional, but we just decided to say it has been the best year of our lives. Our heads are full of amazing memories and inside we feel warm and content.
The blog has been a big part of the trip, not only to keep you informed but also for ourselves as a diary. It will be printed, bound and sat on our coffee table forever more.
It wouldn't have been the same without your fantastic comments, it has helped us not miss you so much. This is the final post for Escapeuk but it certainly isn't the end, instead of ticking places off our list it has shown us new places to add.

I think you will have to have a few drinks to loosen your tongues and divulge the near death experiences. We only know of two.

That's 1 marital agrument for every 10.6 beers. Here is something that is not often said, but: In an attempt to improve your relatioship, maybe you should move to spirite like vodka or whisky? Your going to get PTB in a big way. So brace yourself. Just remember, I'm in Scotland where the weather is always worse.
We didn't only drink 53 beers. It was 53 different brands of beers (you had probably worked that out) Although I only drank one of the Bolivian Beer 'Pilsen' as it was frikkin' RANK! On the other hand I must of had about 4000 of Laos BeerLao, and the same again for Argentinas Quilmes.
Another cool stat is that we moved bed roughly every 2.5 days (not counting the 3 months we spent sleeping in a van through Oz).
I think that makes us pretty hardcore tourists.
We´ve been reading your blog, for every place were about to go we check if you´ve been there and see whats the best thing to do. We stuck to your request chirs and tried not to remember you as the hungover alcholic (its hard not to though). Hope you had a nice ending to your trip (we´ve still got month or two to go! yay!).

Guys, its so wicked that you read the blog. For everybody else that doesnt know Tony and Ben - they were the ace liverpudlians we hung out with in Buenos Aires. Tony was a legend and went out every night until 10 in the morning.
I was a bit worried hanging out at the posh polo country club with the guys from liverpool, but we got away without being caught. Keep in touch. We will come up to the pool one night and you can show us old farts a big night out.
That morning we left was carzy, we went straight from the bar, picked up our backpacka and went to the airport. We then had a hellish day catching two flights to get to Rio. We did better than Shiv though - he never made it to the airport and missed his flight.
Bolivia is wicked isnt it. Have you been to the Salt flats yet? Are you still going to climb Chachani in Peru?
