Google Earth

Download Google Earth by clicking here. Its an amazing free application from Google which allows you to fly around the world, and zoom in to any location you want. It uses satellite photos, so you can look at the pyramids, the Amazon river, and Machu Picchu.
Anyway... on each of my posts when we have visted a different area i will put a link to Google Earth. Clicking on the link will open Google Earth and zoom you straight to where i am sat. I may get the coordinates a bit wrong on some occasions so bare with me.
Check out the "Booked a Room" post below for an example.

Booked a Room...

After a drunken night planning our trip in the 'Bel & Dragon' we woke up and booked our first few nights accomodation in Bangkok. We are staying in the "Shanti Lodge" which is near the Khoasan Road here.

Leaving Party

We are having our leaving party in Bar 38 on Friday 4th November. Everyone is welcome (unless you are a random who doesn`t know us). Starts a 7pm. Be there.

Bad Luck comes in 3`s...

Everything to do with going travelling was running perfectly....until I woke up this morning. 2 things have gone wrong so far this morning, I`m now waiting for the 3rd. Lets hope it happens before i play poker tonight :o

Moorea Island. Most French Polynesia islands are very expensive. Moorea allows camping so we will *have* to stay here.

Typical

We didn`t get away with being undercharged for our flight tickets. STA must have noticed the missing £608 at the end of their day. Bummer.
The only time I got away with anything like that was when I changed some Sterling for Greek travellers cheques, and cash. They charged me for the cheques and gave me the cash for free. I spent the next 2 weeks walking past the shop window to make sure the girl who made the mistake hadn`t been sacked. She still works there so i don`t feel guilty anymore. Bonus.

Booked Flights..

We have booked our flights around the world. They undercharged us by £608. However I have yet to pick the tickets up, so still to see if I actually get away with it. I probably shouldn`t be admitting to this until I have the tickets in my hand, closed the credit card account, and left the country...
