Cyclone Swells

Apparently, according to a dairy farmer we met on 90 mile beach there was a big cyclone in Queensland. We have just arrived in Sydney from Jervis Bay where i surfed at a beach called Cave Beach, the waves were incredible, the big ones coming through were about 6 foot, although i spent most of my time under the water. The guys i met while surfing reckoned it was the start of the cyclone swell, and was building ready to peak on Monday. Some guy even said that they had recorded 9 meters in Queensland !!!!
I know where i'll be when that comes in..... the bar!
