Cool 4x4s

It seems circa 1984 Toyota Landcruisers are the only 4x4 that can make the trip from San Perdo to Uyuni across one of the most inhospitable deserts in the world. The drivers swear by them, saying that anything else, or even a new Toyota wouldn´t make it (They would need to carry laptops to fix the new ones, all they have out here is a screwdriver, spanners, and a bottle of water). Everytime we stop, up goes the bonnet, and in goes the Bolivian to keep it turning.
Inside we squeeze 8 people, of which I am the only one who speaks english, and not spanish, but I don´t care because racing across the desert in one of these is dam cool.
